Natural Horse Solutions
All camps run 9-3 Monday - Friday (Jump camp Mon - Thurs). Our days consist of a two hour morning session on horse care and groundwork games focusing on each camp theme with the horses, an hour lunch and craft session, and afternoons in the saddle learning riding skills based on the camp.
All camps cost $300 for the week if registration and 50% deposit are received before June 1. A $50 late fee is charged for all registrations received after June 1!
Camps are limited to 6 participants, so reserve your spots now! Campers can bring their own horse, contact me to work out boarding details.
Campers should bring: Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Refillable Water Bottle, Bag Lunch, and Any Allergy Medicine.
Campers should wear: Cowboy Boots, Riding Boots, or other smooth sole boot with a heel, Helmet (we have helmets available for those who need), Hat for the sun, and Flip Flops a swim suit and towel for pool day.
This camp is for both English and Western riders with little or no experience. Campers ages 7-13 will enjoy horsemanship, ground games, and horse husbandry in the morning. Lunch and Craft/Activity mid day, and riding in the afternoon.
This camp is for both English and Western riders with some experience. Advanced campers should already know how to canter/lope. Campers aged 7-14 will will enjoy horsemanship games and horse husbandry in the morning, lunch and craft/activity mid day, and riding in the afternoon. Campers will enjoy trail riding by the end of the week.
This camp teaches your child, ages 8 & older, to ride like a real cowboy or girl! Campers spend the morning learning to rope and track animals like deer and wild turkeys. In the afternoon, we trail ride fence lines and show campers how to mend and clear fences, just like a real cowboy!
Learn the art of jumping with a natural focus. This camp is for English riders. Campers must be able to ride independently at the canter, no jumping experience is required. Campers aged 9-16 will learn horsemanship ground games that improve their horses jumping confidence and focus on equitation on the flat in the morning. We break for lunch midday, then everybody's favorite jumping in the afternoon!
This camp is for riders with jumping experience looking to go to the next level. We study the three phases of Eventing: Stadium Jumping, where campers race the clock to clear the course with no faults; Cross Country Jumping, where campers complete a jump course through the fields, woods, and creek; and Dressage, where riders focus on controlling the horse. This camp is open to mature riders 18&under.
Betsy Moles is based at Wild at Heart Ranch in Canton, GA. She has been teaching, showing, and training horses for the past 20+ years. She offers both English and Western lessons for students as young as 5. She shares her philosophy of Natural Horsemanship with her adult students through weekend clinics and week long camps...
